Back in late August of 2024, Berrien county in Michigan experienced a big storm that knocked down a large number of trees across the area. Every tree company was backed up for weeks to months and most companies ignored phone calls and were never available for estimates. We were so lucky to work with C & A Arborists. Christian and his crew were professional, honest, and very fair. Their communication was excellent as they always either answered the phone or returned phone calls in a timely manner. They managed to remove a downed tree in our backyard that was very difficult to reach. They were innovative, creative and efficient all while making safety a priority. Wonderful company!

C & A Arborists came out in record time. Christian is so knowledgeable and presented many options for assessing the how to deal with the problem trees on the property. He even communicated with our neighbor who would be affected by our project. How professional!

The C & A Arborists were here yesterday and did a thoroughly professional job in removing scores of dead or diseased trees, and their clean-up job was commendable. The guys even left some of the shredded mulch for our community to use in barren areas, which we greatly appreciated. All in all, we were very, very pleased and highly recommend them.

We just had another excellent experience with C&A Arborists. We had 5 trees come down in a storm onto our house. At 10am the next morning, the C&A team quickly jumped into work. They got several cranes, chippers and trucks to our house quickly. They were quick to provide pricing quotes and fully understood the insurance process. Last summer we had C and A Arborists fertilize the large trees on our building lot. Last week they returned to clean dead wood, cut and remove invasive vines, and clear invasive brush from our 1 acre lot. Christian and his team are thoroughly professional, knowledgeable, and are hard workers. Our lot looks beautiful and we can’t wait to see the trees bud out this spring. We also liked Christian’s suggestions for promoting wildlife and natural ground cover in our woods. His services are well worth the cost.

I have been using them since purchasing a house with abundant trees in 2006. Christian and his staff are always responsive and do great work. But the recent event Sunday of my "old man tree" shedding a huge diseased branch was overwhelming for me. Christian came out right away, answered all my questions, quoted me a very fair price for the work and it was removed right away! Bye Bye 40 foot Branch...the birds will miss you and so will I!! Christian has done work for me on two separate occasions. His recommendations on work to be done on our trees are thoughtful, his knowledge of trees is extensive and his work is professional and well executed. Within the last two weeks he removed multiple trees around our home, ground out the tree stumps, and left the work area (and nearby plants) in wonderful shape. True professional with very high standards. Definitely will hire C&A Arborists again!

C&A's team have always been professional. I've been working with them since 2005. They have taken trees down, trimmed trees, dropped of wood chip or just provided excellent advice to us. I would recommend them to anyone. Their equipment is always clean and the guys always wear the right gear for a very dangerous job.

I'd like to show a picture of our crabapple tree which is being ripped up, had Christian not noticed it, I'm guessing I would have left it bare, which which would have exposed it to all sorts of issues. Its wrapped and hopefully it will survived.

Finally, I'd like to say, we have given him countless opportunities to remove trees and make money but he always recommends not doing it unless it is to protect our home from a failing tree.

C&A arborists did a great job for us this week. They came round promptly a few months ago to give us an estimate. They removed one very tall tree for us, they left our driveway clear and clean from any tree debris, and left us the trunk logs as requested. Very pleased.

I sent Christian a photo of a tree in my yard in Sheridan Beach IN and asked his advice on pruning dead branches. Within a very short time he sent me a thorough response as to what to do. I was very impressed . It was maybe the third interaction with his firm that I have had and each time I have come away thinking these are people that know what they are talking about and care for both their customers and the environment we all share.

Christian was a great help with information on the trees on our property. He identified what we thought was a disease on our fruit trees as a harmless lichen that needed no attention. Offered suggestions on the various fruit trees on how to trim them and what we could do to get a better harvest. He also pointed out some diseased Blue Spruce trees that in a couple years will likely be dead and suggested another variety that will grow fast enough to replace them. He also advised us on how to get more nature out of the land that we have. And there was no pressure to have us contract them to come out and perform the services he just suggested. His expertise and information was well worth the consultation cost.

As several have indicated, I highly recommend C&A Arborists and staff. We needed some tree event help. Christian and team were responsive with a high degree of ownership.
