Meet Our Expert Arborist
Christian Siewert, our owner, has dedicated his career to the tree service industry, starting in 1987. His passion for arboriculture led him to study at Merristwood College in Guildford, England, where he honed his skills and deepened his understanding of tree care. After founding C&A Arborists, Christian became a certified arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture, ensuring every project benefits from his extensive training and expertise.

Continuing Education is very important to us. We attend several conferences and workshops each year to ensure we are current on updates and safe practices in the tree care industry. This includes continuing education, learning new pruning standards, research in pest and diagnostics, and safety and professionalism. Most conferences sponsor an exhibit featuring the latest and greatest tools, materials and services also.
Christian Siewert, the former Michigan Chapter Liaison for TREE Fund, Tree Research and Education Endowment Fund is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to supporting scientific discovery and dissemination of new knowledge in the fields of arboriculture (the science of cultivating and managing trees in a landscape) and urban forestry. Since their inception in 2002, TREE Fund has awarded over $3.9 million in funding to support:
Scientific research on urban tree care issues
Education programs related to trees
Scholarships for students aspiring to be tree care professionals
Knowledge gained from TREE Fund research directly impacts tree care practices, arborists’ techniques and people’s lives every day.
